The Official Theory Test for Car Drivers Book 2019/20 edition
Published 24th October 2019
Why should you buy the Theory Test for Car Drivers book, surely there are plenty of other ways of preparing for the theory test other than using a book, there’s online and downloads and some practice theory tests that are even free.
Well here are just some of the reasons that this theory test book is a must have.
All of the questions are Official, that means they have been written by the DVSA themselves, they are the Official Revision Questions, so why is that important?
The DVSA have spent vast sums of money tailoring the revision questions in a way that will ensure lesarner drivers end up with the best possible chance of passing the theory test, the questions will help you understand the answers and they are similar to the questions on the actual theory test and also cover the same topics.
The DVSA are the licence holders for the Official Revision Questions and answers, they will only allow other parties to use them if they pay a licence fee for every download or publication that is sold using the Official Revision bank.
This begs the question, are some companies that advertise their download services using the Official Revision questions or are they using their own made up one’s to save paying the DVSA a fee?
Well of course there are some genuine companies that play fair, and of course there will always be others who don’t. If you choose to use 3rd party preparation material then just be aware and ensure you are using the official questions as contained in this book.
The Theory Test for Car Drivers book also contains extra help and essential information for every topic to help you get a real understanding of the answers, including diagrams, images, things to discuss and practice with your instructor, case studies and references to other material where you can get additional help.
Are books still as relevant in this virtual world, absolutely. You can take them out and about with you, pick them up when you have a few spare minutes, write your own notes in them, they don’t run out of battery power, you can more easily get others involved in your learning progress, and if you leave it on the bus, it’s not the end of the world..they are cheap enough to replace easily, and when you have finished with them you can always re-sell them.
